Kamande Wambui

Show Host

The rugby and reggae enthusiast holds masters’ degrees in Statistics and Computational Intelligence from The University of Nairobi and has published papers in journals and Conferences across Africa.

He is NPS certified and previously led the Data Science Team at Ajua where he built Advanced Analytics and Machine learning capabilities in the Ajua platform, and facilitated Integrated CX masterclasses across the continent. He was the curriculum consultant for Moringa School, helping build the premier Data Science Course. Kamande is currently a Principal Analyst at KOKO Networks. He also helps out as the performance analyst at Kenya Harlequins Rugby Club.

On the podcast, besides co-hosting and co-founding it, he is also its Development Director and one of the producers.

Kigondu Martin

Show Host

The filmmaker with an impressive background in theatre might be most notable for his works as a playwright and director but he is also an adept actor, screenwriter and a producer. Described in the papers as ‘arguably one of Kenya’s finest theatre brains’ among other remarkable reviews of his work; Kigondu is an alumni of the Canadian Directors Lab and a product The Phoenix Players. He now runs Prevail Presents, a film and theatre company in Nairobi, Kenya. On the podcast, besides co-hosting and co-founding it, he is also its Creative Director and one of the producers.

Sound Engineer

Abu co-created Too Early For Birds; a blockbuster, 19 times sold-out theatre show detailing excerpts from Kenyan history. 

Over an 8-year professional career span, he’s managed to secure a number of diverse acting roles on major regional television platforms as well as cinema. Having recently flown out to Doha, Qatar as FIFA’s main presenter to cover the FIFA Club World Cup, he returned home and established Sounds Good Studios, a Voice Over and Podcast recording studio where he trades his craft as a sound engineer and producer.
